For 2004, the Grand Cherokee gets a factory-installed DVD navigation system integrated into the radio. Columbia, Freedom and Special Edition trims are also new for 2004. All of these models incorporate subtle cosmetic touches and equipment upgrades. Additionally, each Columbia Edition Jeep comes with a complimentary Columbia parka.

  I OWN A 2003 E-CLASS MERCEDES BENZ. LIVING IN THE NORTHEAST AND HAVING A BENZ IS LIKE TAKING YOUR LIFE IN YOUR HANDS WITH THE ICE AND SNOW. I DECIEDED TO GARRAGE MY BENZ AND BUY A NEW 2004 JEEP SPECIAL EDITION FOR THE WINTER. WE HAVE HAD PLENTY OF STORMS IN THE NORTHEAST AND I HAVE NOT MISSED A BEAT USING MY NEW 2004 JEEP SPECIAL EDITION.

  This Jeep is awesome for the money. 32,000 with every option you could need or want. Rides perfect. cool look. test drive one, buy one, you wont be disappointed. I love mine. the 4 wheel drive all time is PERFECT for a girl to drive in snow. it puts in the 4 wheel drive when you dont know you need it. too many options to mention. just go see for your self. i have drove many suvs and none are better in the same price range. of course if you want to spend 15000 more, go for a Tahoe

  For the sheer fun of driving this is the car to have. Have yet to find the hard uncomfortable ride I was told it has.The mileage for and SUV of this size if good, not great.

  This is my 4TH Jeep (3+3+3+1 years of lease) and I have had NO PROBLEMS EVER. Not even a burned fuse or bulb!!! NONE !!! Ergonomically - absolutely no match, Performance, Acceleration, Handling, Off-Road and TOWING capabilities ARE ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. When Im pulling my 24" 6500lbs Cruiser Boat people always stopping me suggesting to contact Jeep to shoot a commercial ;-) and on the ice, snow and crud Jeep just shines!

  This is my 4th Jeep. Had oil pressure problem on the second day, returned to dealer who replaced sending unit. Two days later same problem, dealer replaced oil pump which didnt correct problem. They got me a rental and went to Chrysler for a solution. Got back to me 2 days later and said the car would be replaced. They took a lemon and made lemonade out of it. Great dealer, great response from Chrysler. With service like this in an unfortunate circumstance they proved again you cant beat a Jeep. Gegnas Chrysler-Jeep in Philadelphia is Great!

  Less than 50 miles and I have a Problem - 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee

  I just leased 2 GC SE yesterday (one for my wife and one for me). Last night my GC SE had an engine light go on and the right directional started flashing right even though I was not turning right? The engine light indicated that there could be a manifold problem with the car. I brought it over to the dealer (nice guys) and they said they would make immediate repairs. I have had 2 Saabs and NEVER had an issue (never mind one after 50 miles of driving). Hopefully I did not pull a lemon. The car rides and looks great--we will see about the reliabity.

  I have only had my Grand Cherokee a short time but I am very pleased. Despite the negatives that leading auto magazines and web sites tag on it, it is an awesome fun to drive vehicle. There are few better looking SUVs out there and none in this price range. Although I thought I wouldnt use it the trip computer has been indespensible. I only have the single disc w/cassete radio but with the upgrade speakers you get very good sound quality. If you can live with the fuel economy (I have not had over 18mpg) I would highly recomend this vehicle.

  I have an 04 Jeep standard 6 cyl. When I first got the car I was siked! But for some reason Ive noticed that the breaks squeal, and when you turn or go over a bump, it almost everytime feels like youll do a rollover going around a bin at 40 mph, which isnt good. :(

  Too high a maintenance vehicle. Long warranty is BS.Need a special bank account to keep maintenance on this vehicle. Ask to see maintenance required and the cost. You make the decision. Most expensive vehicle I have ever owned.(55 years old). This the last Chrysler product I will ever buy.
